Marketing & Communication Specialist

We are in search of an experienced Marketing & Communication Specialist in Eden Prairie or Mankato area. In this role, the Marketing & Communication Specialist will focus on coordinating staff to attend conferences and trade shows as well as content creation that advances the organization's brand reputation and achieves corporate goals. • Assist with company marketing and public relations efforts which will include making arrangements for various conferences, tradeshows, and tracking marketing efforts. 
• Organize and assemble information for presentations & interviews. 
• Coordinate and prepare award packets. 
• Maintain staff qualifications, project descriptions, and other marketing copy. 
• Create content for social media post. 
• Create and maintain website & intranet content. 
• Assist in the development and implementation of collateral material, public relations and advertising programs, and corporate communications.

What We Are Looking For:

• B.S. Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field from an accredited University 
• 1+ years of experience in the marketing field, preferably with a professional services organization 
• 1+ years of experience writing marketing communications such as collateral, case studies, white papers, email, advertising copy, blogs, and website content 
• Ability to prepare effective and concise documents, free of grammatical and spelling errors 
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint 
• Proficient with desktop publishing software (InDesign) a plus 
• Proficient with Social Media Applications (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) 
• Experience with Email Marketing System(s) - Contact Manager, MailChimp, or Emma, etc. Experience with Web Content Management System(s) 
• Excellent writing and editing skills with concern for quality
