Position Details:

The Employer Brand function partners with Talent Acquisition to position Grainger as an employer of choice for top talent and enhance the North American candidate experience from first awareness to onboarding.

Reporting to the Employer Brand Manager and working from our Lake Forest headquarters 50% of the time, the Marketing & Communications Analyst will help promote Granger's employer brand across North America, develop and implement marketing strategies that attract top talent, and ensure a positive candidate experience across all touchpoints. You will partner with Communications, Talent Acquisition, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Analytics teams to maximize the success of Grainger’s employer brand strategy.

You Will:

  • Gather employer brand, recruitment marketing and communications data from multiple systems, including Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Power BI and Microsoft Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets). 
  • Analyze data and develop insights on performance across company profiles, ratings, recruitment marketing, careers site, social media and internal communications. 
  • Develop reports to improve employer brand, communications and recruiting strategies. 
  • Manage content and the candidate experience across Grainger’s North American careers sites and company profiles, including Glassdoor, Indeed, LinkedIn and more to showcase Grainger’s culture and career opportunities. 
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition as an employer brand lead for select departments to develop and implement talent attraction tactics. 
  • Maintain employer brand assets, including resource hubs, templates, best practice guidance and training for Talent Acquisition. 
  • Partner with Communications, Talent Acquisition, HR and other Analysts to evaluate current processes and identify improvements. 
  • Support Grainger’s external awards and recognition program.

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, HR, Analytics or a related field. 
  • Experience planning, executing and/or reporting on recruitment marketing campaigns. 
  • Experience analyzing and visualizing data to draw conclusions and communicate results or recommendations. 
  • Project management skills, comfort working with multiple business partners and openness to testing new ideas where a “right” answer may not exist. 
  • 1+ years of in-house or agency experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing, talent acquisition or related fields. 
  • Strong presentations skills and experience with SAP SuccessFactors applicant tracking system are preferred.
