Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing Communications, the Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for production management of the PFF’s published materials and assists in the execution of all projects under the purview of the marketing and communications department. This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where accuracy, efficiency, and strong organizational skills are equally important. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator must be a strong communicator with excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded generalist with 2-3 years experience working in the marketing and communications department of a nonprofit organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with outsourced partners (designer, printer, mailing house) and Foundation sponsors and manage production of all PFF print materials 
  • Assist in proofreading print and digital marketing and communications content 
  • Execute PFF eBlasts using Constant Contact 
  • Distribute press releases and assist with securing appropriate distribution lists and analytics reporting 
  • Perform routine website maintenance, track and report analytics 
  • Create and maintain photo library and manage YouTube channel content 
  • Create and maintain a repository of graphics to be used for PFF digital channels 
  • Create and manage production of signage and flyers 
  • Work with PFF staff to ensure that the appropriate collateral is in stock and delivered to conferences and other events 
  • Maintain the marketing and communications calendar 
  • Assist the Vice President of Marketing and Communications and the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing Communications with administrative duties as needed 
  • Take on special assignments as needed

Required;

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, graphic design or related field 
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat Pro, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), and Microsoft Office 
  • Experience in print production processes 
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task effectively 
  • Excellent communication and proofreading skills 
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and/or weekends (less than 10%) as needed to meet deadlines and assist with PFF events

Preferred:

  • Experience using content management systems 
  • Familiarity with Constant Contact or similar email software 
  • 2-3 years nonprofit marketing and communications experience
