University Health Services

University Health Services (UHS) at The University of Wisconsin Madison celebrated its 110-year anniversary in December 2020. UHS has been voted, by students and The Princeton Review, a top student health center for the previous five years. An integrated health center, UHS provides high-quality care to more than 100,000 annual clinical visits, including medical and mental health services. In a typical year, more than 50 percent of 48,000 students use our clinical services. Ninety percent of undergraduates will utilize clinical services during their time at UW Madison, and all students participate and benefit from our prevention services. UHS' mission is to promote, protect, and restore the health and wellbeing of the campus community. To read more about the services UHS provides, please visit: https://www.uhs.wisc.edu/about/.

Recreation & Wellbeing serves all students on campus and offers community memberships. With more than one million visits to their facilities each year, RecWell offers a space for people to build a movement of healthy habits through inclusion, education, innovation, and connection. RecWell opened their new facility, the Nicholas Recreation Center, one year ago, and construction is underway for a new westside facility, the Bakke Recreation & Wellbeing Center.
