Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club & Uihlein Soccer Park

The mission of the Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club (MKSC) is to provide everyone (with an emphasis on youth) the opportunity to participate in soccer. We enrich our members and their families by providing leagues and tournaments, educational programs and administrative services with quality facilities, professional staff and dedicated volunteers. Uihlein Soccer Park (USP), built in 1994, features 13 outdoor soccer field, two lighted stadium turf fields, three indoor fields, full food and beverage concessions, and more. Most sporting events hosted are for soccer, however USP also hosts field hockey, la crosse, ultimate frisbee and flag football, among other events. The park, part of the award-winning Milwaukee County Parks System, hosts over 600,000 estimated visitors every year.

Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club, one of the largest youth soccer organizations in the country, is seeking a Marketing & Communications Intern.

Spring internship available (exact dates to be determined) of approximately 15 hours/week (more on tournament weekends and for special events, as needed). Intern will work with the Director of Marketing & Corporate Engagement and the Social Media & Marketing Manager on all aspects of club and park marketing and communications, including design, website upkeep, event staffing and coordination, social media, corporate partnerships and other tasks as necessary.

  • Preferred at least Junior status at an accredited four-year university.
  • Strong communicator (writing, presentation skills and visual)
  • Strong knowledge of Facebook and Instagram platforms
  • Work schedule flexibility (work hours may vary week to week and require some nights and weekend hours) 
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • “All-in, all-win” attitude – willingness to help with various tasks across departments, as needed
  • Vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of valid auto insurance
