The marketing and communications manager provides marketing and communications leadership for a portfolio of LSS lines of service. This role develops and implements effective marketing and communication content and strategies to build relationships and engage strategic stakeholders, donors, faith communities and community partners.  

Specific responsibilities for this portfolio include:

  • Management of all marketing event collateral for signature fundraising/donor stewardship events.
  • Support live-program creation and scripting for 5 annual signature fundraising/donor stewardship events.
  • Support event production elements (videos, stage elements, etc.) to ensure compelling mission-driven storytelling through cross-team collaboration and project management.
  • Lead and support comprehensive event communications calendars, including event emails, social media strategy, event websites, and post-event donor communications.

Job Requirements:

  • BA/BS in marketing, communications or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' work experience in communications and marketing for a mid- to large-size organization.
  • Experience in fundraising and event management preferred.
  • Demonstrated project management acumen required.
  • Demonstrated capacity for developing strategic communications plans aligned with core business and organizational positioning objectives.
  • Strong communications skills that are effectively applied to an audience, channel and objectives.
  • Team building, leadership and strong collaboration skills required.
  • Must be able to draw on problem-solving and capacity-building skills to facilitate agreements-based outcomes with varied constituents.
  • Able to work in a busy environment of unpredictable, fluctuating priorities and frequent interruptions.
  • Commitment to the mission and vision of LSS.

The successful candidate must be cleared by a Bureau of Criminal Affairs (BCA) background study and have a drivers’ license; a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) is required.
