POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing & Communications Manager conceptualizes
and implements comprehensive communications and education plans that align with
Women’s Advocates’ strategic plan. This position is responsible for maintaining
the vision and scope of Women’s Advocates’ communications and education
programs, managing relevant projects, and contributing to Women’s Advocates
role as a leader in domestic violence education for social service and advocacy
organizations, victim-survivors of domestic violence, and other community
partners within Minnesota and beyond. Manager participates in planning and
decision-making affecting the entire organization and works in close
partnership with the organization’s directors, managers, and supervisors on the
organization’s strategic goals, including operationalizing the principles of
diversity, equity, and inclusion across our work.
This is a hybrid position with the requirement to be
in-person, on-site a minimum of two days per week. The salary range for this
position is $62,000 - $68,000.
The Marketing & Communications Manager works with the
Director of Development & Communications to develop and implement a
comprehensive multi-media marketing strategy that effectively communicates to
donors, foundations, staff, and the community about current programming,
fundraising needs, and domestic violence prevention. This position is
responsible for the implementation, design, and distribution of successful
branded communications and social media across multiple platforms, print,
website, mailings, and regular newsletters. This position is also responsible
for managing and leading our Education team to share our mission and raise
awareness about domestic violence in Minnesota and beyond with our community
and victim-survivors.
