Marketing & Communications Specialist

Old Republic Risk Management (ORRM) is currently seeking a Marketing & Communications Specialist to join its MarketingTeam at its company headquarters in Brookfield, WI. In general, the Marketing & Communications Specialist will complete a wide variety of functions, ensuring success of the Company’s marketing and communications strategies.


  • Coordinate written material for various conferences, events and in support of the Company’s business development efforts. 
  • Assist with writing, publishing, and keeping current various digital media (blog posts, Company website, social media, etc.). 
  • Develop and maintain content for the Company’s website and intranet. 
  • Support various internal marketing and communication projects and processes. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (and our sister companies within the Old Republic International family) to produce effective marketing and communication materials. 
  • Analyze trends, marketing strategies and performance; prepare and present reports summarizing information; utilizing metrics to draw insights for leadership. 
  • Update CRM systems to ensure the quality of data, use the data and market research to analyze trends and provide suggestions to leadership on new marketing opportunities. 
  • Develop, implement, performance metrics and tracking tools to measure results of marketing programs (blog posts, Company website, social media, etc.). 
  • Other duties as assigned.


This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Communications, or similar major, and a minimum of one year related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working as a Marketing & Communications Specialist requires one to work independently and effectively within a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products is necessary.

Other skills necessary include excellent oral and written communication skills, strong organizational and accurate proofreading skills, the ability to maintain accurate records, the ability to exercise discretion with confidential information, strong attention to detail, and the ability to use a variety of office equipment.

This position requires occasional travel by use of motor vehicle, public transportation, and/or airplane.
