We are hiring a Marketing & Community Outreach Manager at our Lisbon Avenue Health Center in Milwaukee, WI. This is a full-time position that reports to the director of fund development and marketing, is responsible for developing and implementing a multifaceted marketing and outreach plan for ProgressiveCommunity Health Centers. Job Summary:

The Marketing & Community Outreach Manager, reporting to the Director of Fund Development and Marketing, is responsible for developing and implementing a multifaceted marketing and outreach plan for Progressive Community Health Centers. This plan will include tactics to inform the public about available health center services, with the intent of recruiting new patients and increasing positive brand awareness in the community. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and maintain organizational brand standards to ensure consistent messaging across internal and external communications channels. 
  2. Lead copywriting and graphic design efforts to produce marketing collateral, presentations, and public relations campaigns. 
  3. Develop creative ways to promote the company's mission, locations, and service lines. 
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to devise strategies, budgets, and timelines for marketing and advertising campaigns. 
  5. Establish and maintain positive relationships with the media by preparing press releases, official statements, and pitching story ideas. 
  6. Manage the agency's online presence including external facing website, company intranet, social media platforms, and SEO analytics. 
  7. Cultivate professional relationships with stakeholders of local community organizations and businesses. 
  8. Prioritize and track campaigns to support strategic marketing plans and goals.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Adobe Design Suite, WordPress, and social media platforms. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and partners. 
  • Experience working with print and broadcast media. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with diverse communities. 
  • Prior experience with planning, implementing, and evaluating projects. 
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and proactively problem-solve barriers to meet goals 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, and/or related field required. 
  • Minimum of three years professional experience in marketing or communications, preferably in a health care, public health and/or non-profit setting.
