About Summit:
Way back in 1986, before craft brewing was even cool, Summit Brewing Company Founder and President Mark Stutrud set out in St. Paul, Minnesota, to make craft beers inspired by old-world brewing traditions and ingredients. The Marketing and Content Coordinator at Summit Brewing Company will be on-site and work closely with the Marketing Manager and designers to help execute the marketing plan for our brands. Additionally, the position will function as a storyteller of the Summit Brand by providing content for various marketing initiatives, executing messaging strategies and ensuring project timelines are on track.
The Marketing and Content Coordinator will flourish in a fast-paced environment and ensure effective follow-through with fellow Marketing team members. This position reports directly to the Marketing Manager and is eligible for full company benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND OUTCOMES:
Coordinate timelines and schedules of multiple marketing projects.
Work collaboratively with the Marketing Manager to develop and maintain digital content in different formats including social media, newsletters, and blogs that engages, builds relationships with consumers, and aligns with business objectives. This includes:
- Researching, writing, and editing posts for blogs and newsletters.
- Preparing and delivering reports with account statistics and results that provide insights to guide messaging strategy.
- Monitor and analyze owned social media performance, social media trends and competitors’ accounts to identify content creation opportunities.
- Organize, maintain, and expand content/asset library, editing existing photo/video content and adding new creative assets.
- Identify key stories from Summit’s past, present, and future and repurpose or create new content, develop PR pitches.
- Curate the Summit website content and ensure all information is current and updates are executed promptly.
- Carry out the PR strategy by writing press releases, actively searching for new opportunities to gain exposure for the Summit brand(s) through story development and pitching of those stories to various outlets.
- Collaborate creatively with the Marketing team to launch new products and execute brand initiatives.
- Coordinate and maintain third-party website information and in-house consumer e-mail lists, ensuring lists are kept up to date.
- Assist with the fulfillment of consumer contests, prizes and tracking of winner release forms.
