Brady Street, one of Milwaukee's most popular entertainment districts, is seeking an enthusiastic, super outgoing, highly motivated student or recent college grad to assist the Executive Director. This is a paid position for 10 hours per week, plus extra hours during events.

  • Develop Social Media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Website)
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to our social community while developing, engaging, and expanding social community
  • Become an advocate for everything Brady Street in social media spaces
  • Maintain and update website content -Write monthly e-newsletter (Mailchimp) -Light office work (answering voicemail)
  • Event photography for social posting
  • Assist with running all seasonal events (Sunday Fundays, Spring Art Walk, Brady Street Festival and more)
  • Other odd, creative, exciting duties as assigned - there is never a dull moment!
  • Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in Social Media
  • Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social platforms (FB, Twitter, Instagram)
  • Maintains excellent writing and language skills
  • Has working knowledge of Mail Chimp
  • Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written format
  • Demonstrates winning social customer service techniques - friendly, awesome, and approachable online
  • Communication, Marketing, or Public Relations Majors preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of Brady Street, the neighborhood, events, and businesses. (Bonus if you live nearby)
  • Flexible schedule and remote work space opportunity, however, must be available in person to work these major events: June 1st, June 23rd, July 14th, July 27th, & July 28th - other event dates TBD through middle of December

This is a paid internship, 10 hours per week plus extra hours for our major events as outlined above, at $15/hour. Remote work is available except for event dates and/or special meetings.
