Marketing & Events Coordinator

The Delavan-Delavan Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for the newly established position of Marketing & Event Coordinator.

Accepting applications for newly established position of Marketing & Event Coordinator. This position is responsible for coordination of downtown promotions and events. The position also serves as liaison between downtown businesses & state/local economic development organizations and assists with downtown business retention and recruitment efforts. Work is performed under the general direction of the Executive Director of the Delavan-Delavan Lake Area Chamber of Commerce (“Chamber”).

Applicants should have at minimum an Associates/Technical degree with coursework in marketing, communications, event management or related field and moderate experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. Must be entrepreneurial, energetic, well organized, and able to work well with others and must have excellent communications, project management and public relations skills. Ability to effectively communicate in Spanish and American Sign Language (ASL) is desirable.

Non-Exempt Salaried Position. Weekly Salary: $460 with flexible work schedule.

Scheduled hours will average 24 to 28 hours per week; additional hours will be required in advance and on days of events/programs.
