Marketing and Events Manager

The Marketing and Events Manager will join the 12-person Global Marketing & Communications team reporting to the Global Head of Marketing and Communications. This role is based at LaSalle’s headquarters in Chicago with immediate access to a wide group of key stakeholders.


The role will be responsible for managing all aspects of LaSalle Investment Management’s marketing and events activities in the Americas region.


This job includes but is not limited to:

  • Under direction of the Global Head of Marketing and Communications, help in the development of the marketing strategy for the Americas (corporate, fund and asset) contributing directly to the organisation’s growth targets and new business opportunities 
  • Develop and execute marketing programmes in the Americas including content marketing and digital campaigns, proprietary events and high-profile industry events 
  • Work collaboratively with Americas leadership, CCG and Marketing colleagues to improve company and fund marketing collateral by designing compelling, consistent and compliant messaging 
  • Work collaboratively with Research and Strategy teams to highlight and distribute key thought leadership pieces, including Macro and Micro economic views, real estate performance and topical summaries 
  • Develop training, tools and other communications to ensure that key stakeholders are familiar with LaSalle’s marketing content, know how to position and use this content with clients and prospects, and how to access the content as effectively as possible 
  • Align and adapt global corporate directives and objectives to support regional requirements


  • Progressively responsible marketing experience (minimum 7 years), within an asset management or professional services firm. Real Estate Investment Management experience is a plus. 
  • Bachelor's degree essential 
  • Demonstrated innovative thinking skills with the ability to see the big picture, while also being able to drive projects from development to completion 
  • Excellent project-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and to prioritize multiple pursuits 
  • Possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work effectively with all levels of employees 
  • Periodic travel as necessary to help plan and execute Marketing and Events activities
