UCC helps youth and families achieve their potential by focusing on the well being of families and individuals and by promoting Hispanic cultural heritage. The agency offers services to the community in the areas of cultural arts, recreation, education, and health and human services. It is the largest Latino human services provider in the state of Wisconsin. Nearly 20,000 people benefit from services annually.

Marketing and Fundraising Assistant
Southeast Wisconsin
Milwaukee, WI

The United Community Center, a non-profit community based organization is looking for a Marketing and Fundraising Assistant to serve as a critical member of the marketing team leading sponsorship efforts, box office, and coordinating events.

This team member will:

  • lead and support of a variety of efforts within the marketing team ranging from developing and mailing sponsorship materials, conducting follow-up, and tracking and acknowledging gifts.
  • manage the agency events calendar, and support the execution of events that occur at UCC and Latino Arts. 
  • work closely with the Marketing and Development team in leading data entry of marketing contacts, and events attendees into agency database. 
  • with the development team help strategize how to best utilize data for marketing. 
  • receive an in-depth experience in a cross section of marketing and development activities.
  • performn other projects as assigned including ome data organization and analysis, proofreading, office support, and pecial events and project assistance


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, along with at least 2 years of experience in event coordination, data entry and marketing. 
  • Excellent writing skills are a must, along with superior interpersonal communication and project management skills. 
  • A demonstrated ability to solve problems, seek out solutions, and be resourceful to get the work done. Salesforce or other database experience preferred. 
  • A proactive and self-motivated, positive personality who can work well independently and in a team 
  • Bilingual in Spanish desired.
