Position Details

Marketing Assistant
Southeast Wisconsin
Milwaukee, WI

The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for handling various marketing initiatives in order to promote the firm and its people in a positive and professional manner. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast paced, highly professional environment.

  • Provide support regarding website content and social media management, and in the creation of content for the internal visual communications screens
  • Help update and maintain the data integrity of the firm’s CRM system, InterAction
  • Work with members of the marketing and business development team to fulfill requests for marketing materials, PowerPoint presentations and other firm-related collateral
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of newsletters, client alerts, and invitations through the firm’s email marketing system, Vuture
  • Support the business development professionals by handling various sponsorship logistics
  • Assist with the execution of various firm events and administration of external client entertainment tickets
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, including promotional items and collateral materials
  • Provide administrative support to the department
  • Serve as a friendly and helpful resource for day-to-day marketing needs and questions
  • Other tasks as assigned
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
  • Two – three years of experience in a related field
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and/or Illustrator) is a must
  • Adept at social media
  • Strong writing skills, knowledge of AP Style helpful
  • Experience working with digital marketing technology (CRM system, website and/or email marketing systems)
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written and oral communications skills
  • Proven project management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently; Exceptional client service skills - “can do” attitude, willing to “go the extra mile”
  • Ability to travel between the various office locations to staff early morning and evening events - some overnight stays may be necessary at times
