Habush Habush & Rottier seeks a positive, energetic Marketing Assistant to support our Marketing Manager with a special emphasis on social media. Enjoy a great downtown Madison location and a great work culture when you join our team!

GENERAL SUMMARY: 

The Marketing Assistant supports the Marketing Manager with creating content and managing the firm’s social media presence while also assisting with firm-wide marketing initiatives with special emphasis on sponsorships. Travel throughout the State of Wisconsin is necessary to fulfill this position.

JOB DUTIES:

50% Social Media

  • Monitor and manage social media presence across all platforms.
  • Create and post engaging content across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with social media vendor on social media advertising.
  • Stay current on latest digital and social trends and make recommendations to Marketing Manager.
  • Track and report monthly social analytics to Marketing Manager.

35% Sponsorships

  • Assist in researching sponsorship opportunities statewide.
  • Represent the Firm at selected sponsorship events; coordinating volunteers when necessary.
  • Design collateral materials when needed.
  • Assist in researching event giveaways.
  • Maintain positive relationships with sponsorship contacts.
  • Maintain a social media presence before, during and after events.

15% Miscellaneous

  • Assist Marketing Manager as needed.
  • Attorney nominations.
  • Event coordination for attorney award dinners such as Leaders in the Law.
  • Field marketing sales calls and respond appropriately.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Strong social media knowledge.
  • Very strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Outgoing, positive personality.
  • Flexibility.
  • Experience creating and posting content on social media platforms such as, but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and You Tube.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products and Adobe Suite.
  • Ability to carry 50 pounds.
  • Valid driver’s license and means to travel to events throughout Wisconsin.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Previous Social Media experience required.
