Marketing Assistant

The Marketing Assistant is responsible for assisting in the planning and implementation for all aspects of our marketing communications and brand management throughout the organization. This person performs creative and support duties, primarily focused on digital marketing, graphic design and social media.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide marketing and administrative support to the marketing team and other departments 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team as well as other departments to identify strategies to market Habitat 
  • Stay abreast and analyze data to uncover industry trends 
  • Assist with promotional activities, organize events 
  • Monitor property websites to ensure images and content are updated 
  • Make recommendations on how to enhance existing marketing efforts 
  • Coordinate marketing materials for Habitat and its assets 
  • Assist with presentations by gathering relevant sources including slide decks, videos, quotes, and other information as requested 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


  • 1-2 year(s) experience in marketing, public relations or sales preferred 
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or communications 
  • Proficient in marketing related applications 
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with varied timelines 
  • Well organized with a customer-oriented approach 
  • Excellent knowledge of MC, marketing software/programs, CRM tools, online analytics, GA 
  • Plugged into social media platforms
