Looking to bring your marketing automation and SEO skills to a rapidly growing company? MBX Systems is hiring a Marketing Automation and SEO Specialist to join our expanding marketing team. The marketing automation and SEO specialist will be responsible for building and maintaining our SEO optimization as well as our Marketing CRM tactics. This person will define, execute and manage all aspects of our SEO and marketing automation platform. This includes demand generation and campaign execution, email marketing, optimizing segmentation, as well as associated workflows.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute email marketing campaigns and strategy spanning multiple customer types, and buying stages through a marketing automation platform 
  • Track campaign metrics 
  • Develop best practice marketing automation program recommendations 
  • Accelerate lead growth via high performing outbound email acquisition campaigns 
  • Assist in the technical conceptualization of lead generation, lead nurturing, and lead scoring program strategy 
  • Provide day-to-day system maintenance and configuration of the system 
  • “Pursuit of industry knowledge” - best practices and trends as it pertains to marketing automation and campaign management 
  • Email marketing best practices and compliance (CAN-SPAM Act, EU Opt-In Directive, CASL) 
  • Improve customer retention and upsell rates with customer lifecycle emails 
  • Increase revenue and marketing qualified lead growth via targeted, personalized email nurturing of inbound leads 
  • Manage and execute search marketing strategy, including search engine optimization 
  • Stay informed on evolving search landscape channels, tools and trends, and provide insight both internally and externally 
  • Balance paid and organic search initiatives to maximize overall performance 
  • Actively monitor SEO status to understand when and where to engage to boost organic search rankings 
  • Provide insights into SEO impact of on-line performance, offline performance, and interaction with and support of paid marketing 
  • Manage SEO fundamentals including URL structure, site map, tagging, alt text, etc. 
  • Search Engine Optimization management and reporting

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years SEO and automation experience 
  • Product Master of marketing automation solutions such as Pardot, Marketo, or Eloqua. 
  • Working knowledge of email automation tools and best practices 
  • Knowledge ofSEO, SEM, keyword research, Google Analytics, web analytics, online traffic, websites, social media marketing, and online advertising such as Google Adwords and LinkedIn Sponsored Updates 
  • Direct SEO experience with major search engines, understanding of search engine ranking algorithms and crawlers
