The Marketing Automation Manager will drive strategy, development and optimization of automated marketing to help advance the lives of our members and drive our digital business. Key responsibilities will include building automated journeys for new member onboarding, activation, engagement, and lifecycle management to support the strategic goals of helping members build credit, grow savings, and give back to their communities.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Journey building: Work with internal stakeholders to design and build journeys using salesforce marketing cloud to deliver email, SMS text, and mobile app push notifications. 
  2. Data driven marketing: Using automation studio, SQL, and other tools, create automated triggers to bring members into the appropriate journey, at the appropriate time, with the appropriate message, while monitoring the ongoing success and effectiveness of those journeys. 
  3. Member segmentation and dynamic content: Using internal data, engagement metrics and other outside data, build member segments to help drive greater personalization and dynamic content to help advance the lives of our members is relevant, meaningful ways. 
  4. Testing and optimization: Ensure ongoing improvement of journey results through a regiment of AB testing and analysis. Collaborate with internal teams to achieve desired business goals.

Experience:

  1. Track record of successfully implementing and maintaining marketing automation to achieve specific business goals with a deep understanding of lifecycle, personalization, and analytics; 
  2. 5+ years experience using Salesforce Marketing cloud, Exact Target or similar system, with emphasis on journey builder and automation. SQL experience preferred. 
  3. Ability to use scientific, data-driven methods to build and optimize marketing programs and successfully deliver on goals; 
  4. Drive to collaborate with other departments in a dynamic, fast-paced, cross-functional environment; 
  5. Strong customer empathy and dedication to great consumer experiences; passionate about improving the financial lives of our members 
  6. Superior analytical skills and a strong ability to articulate results, both written and verbal

Education:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field. 
  2. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
