Position Overview:

The Marketing Automation Specialist will be responsible for marketing automation for Würth Industry North America (WINA) and its operating companies. This role will work closely with marketing, IT, and sales teams to execute on a web and eCommerce strategy that delivers high quality sales leads and revenue through various websites and marketing activities. With an emphasis on Hubspot Marketing Automation and CRM tools and proprietary website content management systems, the Marketing Website / eCommerce Manager will manage a team of marketing and web specialists to improve website functionality, optimize content, and improve the customer experience on the web.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBITLIES include the following and all other duties assigned:

  • Uses HubSpot to build, deploy and monitor critical marketing programs, such as sales sequences, lead nurtures, automated workflows and email campaigns 
  • Activities include program workflow creation, email creation, landing page creation, form creation, list uploads and contact data management 
  • List hygiene using automation tools, and responsible for accurate segmentation and targeting 
  • Oversees campaigns improve email open rates, click-through rates and conversions 
  • Implements marketing best practices and ensures proper end-to-end testing of programs prior to launch 
  • Embraces a test and learn mindset, digs for actionable insight within data by applying response analysis, A/B testing and best practices to optimize all aspects of programs 
  • Establishes and delivers marketing reporting, dashboards and analysis on program performance, conversions, attribution and effectiveness 
  • Partners with internal stakeholders to execute best-in-class HubSpot programs in support of the customer's journey, including adoption, retention and expansion initiatives 
  • Ensures all program assets and data management programs adhere to CAN-SPAM and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and local email laws 
  • Other duties, as may from time to time be required, as commensurate with the role and the needs of the business.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field and/or combination of commensurate experience 
  • HubSpot workflows, sequences, landing pages, forms, list segmentation, email marketing (HubSpot certifications a plus) or equivalent experience i.e. Salesforce etc. 
  • Experience with website CMS systems for embedding codes and landing pages 
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills 
  • Creative, open-minded and enthusiastic about seeking new solutions to challenges 
  • Comfortable multi-tasking and eager to take on more projects 
  • Experience working with sales organizations as it relates to successfully executing a campaign, gaining stakeholder alignment and gathering feedback 
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting and data analysis 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • Marketing Automation/Operations Background with 1+ years of marketing automation and email experience (HubSpot) 
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills as well as proficiency with the entire MS Office suite and Google Suite 
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate professionally across the organization 
  • Excellent organizational, planning, presentation, troubleshooting, and multi-tasking skills 
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism 
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional customer support 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team member 
  • Ability to think strategically
