The LindenGrove Communities Marketing Department is seeking candidates for our undergraduate Marketing & Business Development Internship program in Brookfield, Wisconsin. To be eligible, a student must be pursuing a degree in public relations, marketing, business, journalism/mass communications and/or digital and multimedia communications and have an interest in gaining interdisciplinary experience in a health care setting. 

  • Produce social media posts for Facebook and Instagram, including infographics, written content, videos, etc.
  • Monitor social media activity on LindenGrove’s branded accounts, including reviews, messages, comments, etc.Assist with social and digital marketing campaign initiatives.
  • Boost writing and editorial skills by assisting on a variety of external communications initiatives; such as blogs, articles for newsletters and informational text for invitations, brochures and flyers.
  • Maintain social media calendar.
  • Create print and electronic promotional pieces for public relations, media, newsletters, annual reports.
  • Update and maintain email and mailing database.
  • Coordinate direct mailings.
  • Take photos of LindenGrove workshops and events in Waukesha County and support events as needed.
  • Passion for social media marketing
  • College/university junior or senior, or recent graduate, obtaining BA/BS/MBA in public relations, marketing, journalism/mass communications or equivalent area of focus
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Self-motivated and effective task manager
  • High level of creativity and ability to think outside of the box
  • Ability to work independently and think critically
  • Organized and detail oriented 
  • Access to reliable transportation 
  • Knowledge of social media and marketing strategies, journalism or media relations preferred
  • Must be available a minimum of 10 hours a week.
  • This is a non-paid internship

  • Will work with Intern's educational institution for college credit if applicable.
  • Will leave at the end of the internship with the understanding of how a small nonprofit works and amazing marketing/business development experience.
