As a Marketing Co-Op Specialist at Crescent Electric, you will provide support to the Supplier Partnership Department for the distribution and reconciliation of CO-OP/Business Development Funds. In this role, you will maintain, monitor, report, and communicate on the status of co-op funding to both internal personnel and to external vendors.

What You'll Do:

  • Work alongside the Marketing Co-Op Manager to effectively utilize CO-OP/Market Development Funds. 
  • Responsible for providing all accounting duties for CO-OP/Market Development Funds for the Sales Promotion Manager. 
  • Maintain data entry records of manufacturer funds, update manufacturer contacts, and correspond with Crescent® locations about funds available. 
  • Review CO-OP/Market Development Fund claim documentation for accuracy and discrepancies, bill manufacturers in a timely manner, correspond with manufacturer CO-OP/Market Development Fund contact to receive payments and reconcile past due payments. 
  • Reconcile CO-OP/Market Development Fund accounts monthly and at year-end internally and externally with manufacturers. 
  • Manage the Supplier Relations Management (SRM) database by updating, monitoring and maintain all vendor and rep agency contacts. 
  • Manage the Supplier Partnership Intranet site with the following: department contacts, promotions, NPIs, counter merchandising, trainings, and supplier partnership newsletter. 
  • Build surveys, collect results, and analyze questionnaires in Survey Monkey alongside of the Marketing CO-OP Manager. 
  • Assist the Marketing Co-op Manager in collecting content, writing, and editing the quarterly Supplier Partnership newsletter. 
  • Assist with Vendor reporting, and presentations as needed and required by team.

What You'll Have:

  • Computer familiarity and Internet skills including use of emails, messaging, and information gathering. Knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Acrobat Reader. 
  • A friendly demeanor, a good work ethic, and flexibility with occasional routine changes. 
  • Ability to operate under pressure, to manage multiple projects, and to meet short and long-range deadlines. 
  • Ability to independently prioritize projects and recommend the most efficient techniques to get the project completed. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate mail room needs orally and/or in writing to internal and external customers, upper-level management, vendors, etc. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate CO-OP/Market Development Fund status orally and/or in writing to internal and external customers, upper-level management, vendors, etc.
