ARKRAY is currently seeking a Marketing Communication Specialist to manage the creation and delivery of marketing programs and services to support the expansion and growth of the company, to include the creation of print and digital sales tools, online media marketing, website development, and social media.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely and proactively with Marketing, Sales and other departments to plan and execute marketing projects and ensure that concepts are properly positioned, supported, and delivered on time. 
  • Conducts reviews of marketing literature to ensure that all content is accurate and meets regulatory requirements. 
  • Works proactively with Marketing Management to ensure that products and programs are properly positioned and supported through online media. 
  • Researches, writes and consults with Graphic Designer and printing firm representatives on the needs of the particular project. Presents recommendations to marketing manager or committee. 
  • Researches, creates and implements online social media campaigns. 
  • Monitors the effectiveness of online strategies by utilizing key indicators such as Google Analytics. Recommends and once approved, executes modified strategies to maximize effectiveness of the strategy including tracking and reporting on the ARKRAY brand through social media websites 
  • May develop and coordinate multimedia packages including letters, brochures, video and point-of-purchase displays for particular assignments. 
  • Develops marketing campaigns using traditional media and digital platforms as dictated by the assignment. This includes the monitoring of the campaign roll-out and assessment of success at campaigns conclusion. 
  • Works closely with department manager to oversee the performance of key external vendors including printers, agencies and consultants.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Journalism is preferred. Healthcare or medical device experience a plus. 
  • Excellent written (proofreading/copy editing w knowledge of AP style) and verbal communication skills combined with the ability to analyze and summarize complex information. 
  • Strong presentation skills including the ability to demonstrate the use of specific products. 
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills and the willingness to suggested calculated and possibly even bold initiatives to meet the expectations of company growth. 
  • Should exhibit great creativity and resourcefulness along with the ability to handle many assignments simultaneously. 
  • Advanced computer skills required with demonstrated expertise in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments. 
  • Ability to travel up 10% when needed
