We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Communications Consultant in Bloomington, MN. The Marketing Communications Consultant implements marketing and communications plans that build and support the business growth goals of HealthPartners products, programs and services.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The Marketing Communications Consultant will report to a manager in Marketing Communications and will work closely with that manager and others to implement all aspects of marketing and communications plans. Specifically, the consultant:

  • Implements marketing plans and programs that support business to business and business to consumer marketing objectives. 
  • Proactively provide marketing consultation to internal clients. 
  • Produces materials, events and communications to support business and marketing objectives. 
  • Develops product materials and collateral support for purchaser and consumer audiences. 
  • Writes, edits and formats general, market-specific and group-specific marketing communications for consumer,business-to-business and internal audiences. Delivery vehicles include product summaries, brochures, website, electronic newsletters, PowerPoint. 
  • Helps coordinate special events and other productions as appropriate. 
  • Works with content experts throughout the organization. 
  • Collects and analyzes data to continually improvequality and effectiveness of marketing initiatives. 
  • Works with internal support units such as web andcreative services to develop and implement tactics. 
  • Analyzes audience-specific needs and responds with targeted key messages and materials. 
  • Provides great service to internal and external customers. 
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, generally in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field; or five years of marketing experience in lieu of a degree. 
  • Two - five years of marketing communications program planning and development experience. 
  • Excellent project management skills. 
  • Excellent verbal communications skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills. 
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient user of Microsoft Office products. 
  • Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills for print and web. 
  • Demonstrated creativity in developing effective communications programs for consumer, business and internal audiences. 
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative work environment with multiple priorities. 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to meet deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Marketing/sales communications experience in health care 
  • Graphic design skills 
  • Desktop publishing skills 
  • Event planning experience. 
  • Web experience
