The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Marketing Communications Content Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Plan, create and activate integrated marketing communications strategies, programs and campaigns to drive business results 
  • Collaborate with marketing, technical service, regulatory and legal partners to develop effective and relevant content that engages customers across the buyer’s journey
  • Leverage subject matter experts to develop and deploy content strategies and tactics to reach the target audience 
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and tactics delivered to customers 
  • Advocate for continuous improvement of content and delivery to improve desired results

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution 
  • Five (5) combined years experience in Communications and/or Marketing 
  • One (1) year digital marketing experience (i.e. marketing automation, SEO, SEM, digital media, digital content, link strategy development, and/or tagging) 
  • Two (2) years cross-functional team experience 
  • Two (2) years project management experience in a private, public, government or military environment 

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience in B2B communications preferably in a health care or regulated industry environment 
  • Understanding of digital marketing and application of content marketing 
  • Strong collaboration and team management skills 
  • Experience with customer insights 
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and risk taking

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international.
