Under supervision from the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Communications Intern will coordinate, assist, and implement marketing and communications projects and other related duties as assigned. This is the perfect internship for someone looking to further develop their marketing skills (especially writing, design, communication and project management) at a mission-driven organization that strives to have a positive impact on consumers.

This paid position is part-time offering 20 hours a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist marketing communications team with daily activities and tasks 
  • Assist in the copywriting, design and development of marketing and communications collateral, including newsletters, brochures, ads, social media, news releases, blog content, etc. 
  • Manage individual marketing projects such as monthly and quarterly pharmacy marketing campaigns 
  • Work with suppliers/vendors for projects and inventory management 
  • Make website updates 
  • Maintain a consistent corporate brand image using brand guidelines 
  • Edit and proofread 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite programs is preferred (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) 
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in, or recent graduate of a college or university (junior or senior preferred)
  • Previous intern experience in marketing or communications a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong organization skills 
  • Excellent written and oral communications 
  • Project management 
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
