Work on assorted communication assignments, including press releases, online content, newsletters, employee recruiting collateral and presentations.

  • Support social media efforts for Lakeside Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn channels, including content creation, audience engagement, monitoring and evaluation 
  • Write/compile employee communications content for newsletter, executive announcements and mobile/online application 
  • Take and source photography for print and online channels 
  • Maintain media contact list, distribute press releases and develop media coverage reports 
  • Support product marketing sales tool creation and monthly market data internal reporting 
  • Planning and executing of one major project to be determined with hired candidate based on area of interest, e.g., product launch, executive blog, employee orientation kit, social media recruiting guide, employee event, or similar project.
  • Student in 4-year degree program with emphasis in business, marketing, communications, advertising, public relations or journalism 
  • Demonstrated writing skills (writing samples will be requested before interviews) 
  • Solid Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills 
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, In Design or other photo editing and layout software a plus
