Roquette is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager - Americas to join the team in the Geneva, Illinois, office as an area specialist to develop and execute strategic external and customer-focused communications for the Food, Pharmaceutical and Industrial markets.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and team-player with a positive attitude. The candidate will work with the global marketing communications team and area marketing managers to develop and execute a wide range of creative, integrated communications, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, meet expectations and adhere to brand standards.


  • Support marketing and sales efforts to create both strategic and tactical promotional tools, e.g., brochures, webinars, fact sheets, videos, case studies, customer presentations, etc. 
  • Write creative and compelling copy for the web, brochures, case studies, email campaigns, presentations, press releases 
  • Manage trade show strategy and planning in collaboration with marketing and sales teams 
  • Execute trade show logistics – partner with vendors on contracts and booth development, coordinate Roquette attendees and activities as on-site lead 
  • Lead off-line marketing tactics – events, magazine features, ads, etc., and project manage, coordinate and produce deliverables to support customer events and presentations 
  • Partner in annual marketing communications planning and ongoing budget management, including negotiation with vendors and internal business partners 
  • Partner with Global Marcom on media planning and execute digital activities for area, including recommending new and innovative ideas, especially digital-focused opportunities 
  • Meet tight deadlines with competing priorities, while flawlessly executing projects in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years’ relevant experience, preferably B2B in food, pharmaceutical or other related, highly regulated industries 
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing or communications 
  • Exceptional writing skills for multiple audiences. (Creative and technical writing skills a plus. Writing samples will be requested.) 
  • Strong experience producing a wide range of marketing collateral 
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, both domestic and international travel required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agency, vendor and/or budget management experience 
  • Experience leading high profile, confidential marketing communications projects 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills 
  • Experience creating successful PR strategies
