The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for providing content strategy and writing support for the development of complex marketing communication materials and programs. This position will serve as the content creation and strategy lead for assigned business lines.

Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:

  • Consults with team and business leads to develop and map content objectives for the assigned business lines. 
  • Collaborates with product marketing and marketing communication leads to assemble content strategies and calendars. 
  • Researches, writes, edits, and reviews content for all programs/campaigns executed across the business lines. 
  • Creates content for use across multiple channels, from marketing collateral through digital programs and campaigns; collaborates with graphic designers and other marketing resources to execute and distribute content. 
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of communication plans and materials (against both prior performance and the competition), recommendnew communication strategies and implementation approaches. 
  • Ensures all materials meet internal and external business and legal standards and follows appropriate corporate standards, guidelines, and approval processes. 
  • Develops budget and negotiates services with outside vendors as required. 
  • Identifies improvement/efficiencies that support operational excellence, and supports business initiatives (plain language, standardization, etc.).
  • Requires a BA/BS degree; at least 5 years of related experience to include content strategy, and writing support for marketing material; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 
  • Understanding and/or experience in healthcare or managed care marketing is strongly preferred. 
  • Knowledge of payment accuracy/financial management solutions for managed care is preferred. 
  • Must have end-to-end marketing experience within B2B. 
  • Omni channel and/or digital marketing experience is preferred. 
  • The ability to travel as needed for team meetings or other business needs is required.
