Composites One is looking for a Marketing Communications Manager to join our growing Marketing team! This role is responsible for managing the Marketing Communications team in executing various cross-platform marketing and communication activities, in support of building North American and Global brands. This includes the implementation of strategies that align with short/long-term marketing objectives; aligning initiatives with business goals, aligning messaging across all communication channels, working cross-functionally on campaign plans and associated content, and ensuring Composites One Brand and value proposition are accurately represented across all activities. This position will serve as a collaborative thought partner on the strategy, planning, and execution of the marketing communications team’s objectives.

Core responsibilities as the Marketing Communications Manager:

  • Oversees marketing communication workstreams and leads in the development of the Marketing Communications team. 
  • Provides leadership and delegation of roles and responsibilities to Marketing Communications team members, as well as management of external service partners. 
  • Manages Social Media Specialist, SEO/Website Specialist, Content Specialists, and other Marketing Communications Team Members to develop content development strategy, including acquisition and management. 
  • Manages sales-related communications projects. 
  • Proactively partners with Marketing and Commercial Groups in supporting the execution of campaign and tactical plans including timing, roll-out, and reporting. 
  • Creates Sales tools, collateral, and promotional materials to fulfill both regional and global sales and market-specific needs and campaigns. 
  • Educates and supports Product Managers, Technical Support Teams, and Brand Experience Specialist on the development of impactful, customer-focused messaging and programs that enhance market position (Product launch and trade show support). 
  • Facilitates, manages, and works to continuously improve global Company Stores for Composites One and its Brands by seeking input from internal subject matter experts. 
  • Manages various internal communication platforms as well as public relations communications. 
  • Supports the development of press releases, press events, and rollouts. 
  • Manages Intranet Content Calendar, and ensures alignment of event, social, and campaign strategies to the global/centralized calendar. 
  • Provides writing and editing support to ensure internal and external communications are aligned with the brand message and C1’s culture. 
  • Manages the Lead Management Program.
  • Coordinates with Marketing and Digital leaders to ensure data collected from lead generation programs capture desired data points. 
  • Develops marketing campaign/nurture efforts to brand Composites One to certain leads.

Must Haves to be successful in this role:

  • Strong business writing skills. 
  • Ability to design graphics associated with campaign management. 
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative focused on results; ability to manage multiple, simultaneous workstreams. 
  • Skilled in working with creative agencies and an understanding of print processes. 
  • Ability to design graphics associated with campaign management. 
  • Knowledge of video production, including editing and script development. 
  • Innate ability to pay attention to details when composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities, facilitating events, and meeting deadlines. 
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Superior organizational and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required, or a combination of related experience and education that is deemed to be commensurate with the degree requirement. 
  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience managing complex marketing projects and/or teams is required. 
  • Knowledge of today’s communication tools and current trends as it relates to the professional environment is strongly preferred. 
  • Composites industry knowledge is a plus, but not required. 
  • Willingness to travel if required – up to 35% 
  • Advanced proficiency using MS Office software. 
  • Requires experience with Adobe Creative suite, internal database, and software systems. 
  • Experience with basic html, Office 365, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint is preferred. 
  • Knowledge of Infographic applications and experience using email delivery systems such as Constant Contact or Mail Chimp.
