Marketing Communications Manager

The Marketing Communications Manager manages the EVS marketing communications strategy and its execution including advertising, branding, promotion, client communication and more. Designs, develops, and distributes consistent themes, messaging, and branding throughout all communications touch points. The ideal candidate understands the engineering and/or renewal energy sector including its products, services, and customers and develops focused communications in collaboration with EVS stakeholders across functions. Ideally, the candidate explores and adopts new channels, methods, and messaging platforms to optimize messaging opportunities.

The position is located in Eden Prairie, MN.


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive branding strategy aligned with business objectives 
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communication channels 
  • Facilitate effective internal and external communications to align with organizational goals 
  • Create and disseminate internal newsletters, updates, and announcements 
  • Plan and execute marketing events, conferences, and booths to showcase and amplify EVS capabilities 
  • Manage and grow the EVS presence on social media platforms 
  • Develop engaging content and campaigns to connect with the target audience 
  • Ensure EVS website is up-to-date with relevant content and collaborates with web developers for improvements and optimizations 
  • Utilize data and analytics tools to measure the performance of marketing campaigns 
  • Collaborate with leadership to define short-term and long-term marketing goals 
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including engineering and other teams, to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives 
  • Lead branding initiatives for tradeshows, client gifting ideas, yearbook efforts 
  • Prepare plans for showcasing new engineering initiatives on social media 
  • Lead efforts such as client satisfaction surveys and evaluate needs for an external newsletter
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field 
  • Proven experience in marketing and branding, preferably in the engineering or renewable energy sector 
  • Strong proficiency in social media management and website content development 
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills 
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and cross-functional environment 
  • Clearly convey ideas and information to team members and stakeholders 
  • Demonstrate creativity in campaign development and problem-solving 
  • Adapt to changing circumstances and market dynamics
