The Marketing Communications Manager manages a team of Milhouse creative marketing specialists and is accountable for the development and maintenance of all marketing strategies and plans that align with organizational goals and objectives. This includes the mining and evaluation of customer research, market conditions and competitive data required to formulate the marketing strategies and plans and marketing plan changes as needed. The Marketing Communications Manager also manages all marketing, branding, communications and the promotional team and programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and foster working relationships with the key stakeholders within each business unit served Manage, delegate and provide direction to the marketing communication’s team 
  • Create annual executable marketing plans per business unit in conjunction with the technical and business groups detailing activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus on achieving organizational goals 
  • Manage the Marketing Communication Team’s budget and deliver all marketing activities within approved budget. Provide direction to the marketing communication team to operate within budget 
  • Manage all aspects of promotional material from concept phase to implementation phase
  • Manage all marketing communication services 
  • Develop client relationships and build trusted partnerships on a continuous basis 
  • Ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and communications, both internal and external 
  • Lead the planning and coordination of corporate events for clients and team members 
  • Create and manage all press releases and other corporate communications, both internal and external 
  • Develop and manage schedules for marketing activities to reach overall goals of the group

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrate ability to interact and cooperate with all company team members 
  • Demonstrate ability to manage marketing communication team members to deliver high quality work products consistently and in a timely manner 
  • Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation & creativity, focus on the client, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity 
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values 
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all business departments

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Business or Communications; Master’s degree in marketing or business is a plus 
  • 6+ years of marketing experience in the technical industry 
  • Extensive experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives 
  • Strong understanding of client and market needs 
  • Proven ability to supervise all marketing, advertising and promotional team and activities 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Strong management skills 
  • Able to lead and work effectively within a team environment
