Overview:

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for supporting a group of marketing product managers as well as the company, performing all duties while adhering to HIPAA requirements and Tactile Medical policies. This position develops and executes superior communications strategies and plans under the business goals and objectives, including product launches, other major marketing or internal communications solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides comprehensive marketing communications solutions and plans that support the brand, programs and business objectives. 
  • Develops and implements marketing communications strategies and campaigns and monitor their success; defines key performance indicators to indicate levels of success. 
  • Works closely with key stakeholders to develop strategic marketing tools that are appealing and engaging to each audience. 
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders and communications proactively to manage expectations, project timelines and logistics. 
  • Leads aspects of content calendar for Awareness Campaign, working with downstream marketing team to ensure consistent flow of relevant data. 
  • Content is directed to target audiences. 
  • Partners with the Marketing Communications Director and Senior Director to define department strategies and procedures. 
  • Participate in agency and outside supplier meetings and reviews as appropriate to ensure that creative and production work reflect the needs of the marketing team and evolving industry practices. 
  • Solicit feedback from sales partners to ensure continuous improvement for future development of materials. 
  • Act as the brand ambassador for the company and ensure compliance and operational policies across all departments. 
  • Provides the Communications Director a financial reconciliation as needed. 
  • Other duties and projects as assigned. 
  • Travel up to 20%.

Education and Experience:

  • BA or BS in a marketing, advertising, journalism, communications, public relations or related field. 
  • 7-10 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related field. 
  • Experience in medical device, healthcare or other regulated industries. 
  • Experience with databases, CRM, and marketing automation platforms. 
  • Experience leading and executing product launches and campaigns. 
  • Experience in digital and social media platforms.

Knowledge and Skill:

  • An experienced communications professional, and critical thinker with demonstrated extensive experience in creating and executing communications programs with measurable results. 
  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing product launches. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team player in a dynamic environment. 
  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing small- and large-scale Marketing Communications’ projects. 
  • Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills. 
  • Adept at communicating with individuals at all levels of an organization. 
  • Strong understanding of social media channels. 
  • Experience briefing and managing outside resources including writers, agencies and creative partners. 
  • Expertise in MS Office and Outlook.
