Position Details

Marketing Communications Manager
Twin Cities Metro
Bloomington, MN

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Marketing Communications team in Commercial Division, guiding all projects, and the overall quality of work. This position provides clear direction for planning, developing, and implementing marketing communication, go-to-market plans, and brand advocacy strategies to ensure Toro brand strength in the marketplace.

What Will You Do?

  • Plays an active role in brainstorming and idea generation with senior members of the marketing and product marketing team to conceptualize innovative ideas that deliver successful, measurable outcomes for Golf and Sports Fields & Grounds markets 
  • Design, create and implement creative brand strategies so that the brand is a competitive advantage in the marketplace 
  • Lead, coach and mentor the marketing communication team 
  • Guides key internal and external agency partners 
  • Oversees deliverables, timelines and budgets – consistently delivers on time and in scope 
  • Utilize marketing analytics to assess campaign performance, customer behavior, and market trends 
  • Reviews work, troubleshoots and provides feedback to creative team 
  • Performs other duties and projects as requested

What Do You Need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field 
  • Manager I: 6-8 years of marketing experience demonstrating increased responsibilities and leading a team 
  • Manager II: 8+ years of marketing experience demonstrating increased responsibilities, and leading a team 
  • A robust background in leadership in an agency and/or corporate environment 
  • Recognized expertise in advertising, collateral, identity, interactive design, concepting, film/video, social content 
  • Thought leadership: A strong point of view; ability to contribute to the strategic development of an assignment; creative ideas and the ability to promote concepts 
  • Able to articulately communicate ideas – both verbally and visually 
  • Strong ability to prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short- and long-term needs 
  • Ability to manage the budget within expectations.

  • Travel expectation – 10%

It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
