Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Marketing Communications Manager, helps support the development and execution of marketing communication efforts, public relations and advertising efforts for Mystic Lake Casino Hotel and Little Six Casino. This role will be focused on supporting the development of marketing campaigns and programs across owned and paid marketing channels for the brand such as social, search, web, app, email, digital display, OOH, broadcast, streaming, endorsements, influencers and other emerging channels. Works in close collaboration with key department stakeholders across the organization to support their communication needs, marketing programs and PR initiatives in a consultancy and client relationship capacity. This includes supporting both traditional and digital projects with support from the digital and creative teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in PR, communications, marketing, advertising or similar preferred, or related experience in a role such as a Marketing Account Coordinator to equal four years. 
  • Previous experience in the development and implementation of marketing campaign planning and strategies within PR or advertising, and a strong familiarity with marketing best practices. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including a proven ability to work across different audiences, personalities and experience levels. 
  • Creative, responsible, high-energy, eager to work with other departments to support their marketing needs. Agency experience preferred. 
  • Exceptional writing, communications and interpersonal skills. Excellent organization and project management skills. 
  • Exceptional partnership and interpersonal skills -- including the ability to work inter-departmentally and provide marketing services to various stakeholders. 
  • Excellent communicator with a knack for data, creative and how to use various platforms for strategic messaging. 
  • Ability to manage changing requirements as well as multiple overlapping projects at one time and to help the team organize themselves to do so as well. 
  • Must have a strong track record of working independently, as well as experience in an agency-like environment.
