Position Description:

AbeTech is looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented, creative and savvy wordsmith to assist with all marketing initiatives including content writing, report analysis and social media growth. This is a great opportunity for an organized and ambitious self-starter to jump into a variety of projects with a rapidly growing company!

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in building and creating a rich content/editorial calendar that portrays a consistent brand voice.
  2. Write, edit and proofread sharable marketing content on- and offline.
  3. Create sales material that announces product launches and partner promotions.
  4. Build and manage the company’s social media profiles by implementing tactics that attracts followers, engages and retains them, converts leads into clients and finally active fans.
  5. Assist in reporting marketing analytics including social, PPC and website.
  6. Work closely with marketing manager to assist with various marketing projects.

Required Skills and Education:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or 2+ years’ experience in marketing, advertising, communications, writing, editing and graphic design.
  2. Exceptional communication skills i.e. writing, editing and proofreading.
  3. Proficiency in industry standard design software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.

Additional Recommended Skills:

  1. Experience with writing and editing marketing content.
  2. AIDC industry knowledge.
  3. Professional social media marketing experience.
