Marketing Communications Specialist

SUMMARY STATEMENT:

This position will be responsible for coordinating and successfully implementing marketing communications programs that are aligned with business or corporate marketing objectives for both internal and external audiences. The candidate will produce marketing communication materials and internal communication content that supports marketing plans and strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop a wide array of marketing collateral while adhering to brand guidelines 
• Manage company brand guidelines and digital assets 
• Responsible for marketing and communication processes as it relates to various project schedules and oversees and upholds the Marketing Communication SOP process (i.e. US and International review process) 
• Track marketing expenses including invoicing and reporting (events, marketing projects/services) 
• Communicate with agency partners and contractors as it relates to projects and business/marketing strategy 
• Lead and coordinate all tradeshow and event logistics 
• Responsible for onboarding new field employees through internal LMS system 
• Manage CMS (WordPress) corporate website through content updates, SEO improvements, and inbound marketing techniques 
• Monitor and update corporate social media platforms 
• Maintain PR calendar and identify ongoing initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:

• BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing or Communications required 
• 2-5 years of related experience required 
• Healthcare/Medical Device experience preferred 
• Strong ability to work cross-functionally 
• Ability to take direction form others and be very detailed in follow through 
• Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills 
• Strong written and oral communication skills 
• Proficient in MS office, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign), and WordPress 
• Results oriented 
• Significant work pace & pressure due to deadlines 
• Ability to travel up to 10%
