Coloplast has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Communications Specialist to join our growing team!

The Marketing Communications Specialist will be responsible for planning and executing successful marketing communications activities that support the Canada Wound & Skin Care team. This role will have a primary focus on asset management, content creation, literature fulfillment, event management, as well as other programs that are aligned with divisional business objectives for both internal and external audiences. The desired candidate will have strong project management skills, attention to detail, and an entrepreneruial attitude.

The Marketing Communications Specialist will also support product related campaigns and sales initiatives, as needed. The desired candidate will play a key role in driving execution excellence for the Marketing team by following Coloplast brand guidelines and serving as a champion for Marketing Communications standards and processes. It is critical for all marketing-communications activities be designed in a way to measure effectiveness and ensure internal stakeholders are receiving the appropriate support and return on investment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the promotional media content review and approval process 
  • Collaborate with agency to translate English content for French Canadian audience including: literature, video files, and audio files 
  • Lead the webinar planning and execution process. Coordinate with member of Sales and Marketing, along with KOLs to maximize webinar impact 
  • Manage Canada literature and asset management, and partner with Marketing Manager to ensure the internal team and sales force is supported properly 
  • Manage and execute the media plan including online and trade publication ad schedule, as well as partner with marketing for ad development and distribution to publishers 
  • Monitor and confirm sales enablement content is current for Canada sales team 
  • Support process for placing new leads into CRM system for sales team follow-up 
  • Publish monthly marketing reports by working with applications such as Google Analytics, AdWords, and SEO reporting to develop campaign insights and ROI for business leaders 
  • Effectively manage external agencies for literature and campaign related deliverables, as needed 
  • Plan and execute internal and external facing meetings that may include: Product Launches, Sales Advisory Boards, national conferences, and other regional events as needed 
  • Understand trends and insights to take advantage of opportunities to recommend new methods for creating efficiency and driving execution excellence 
  • Manage assigned project budgets as it relates to the overall Marketing budget 
  • Support Sales requests Manage other marketing communications projects as assigned

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field 
  • 3-7 years’ of experience in advertising, communications, or marketing-communications related field 
  • Previous Medical Device industry or healthcare experience preferred, but not required 
  • Strong project management skills 
  • Creativity, leadership, organizational/administrative and planning skills 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • High attention to detail and follow-through
