The Marketing Communications Specialist at Composites One offers an incredible opportunity for a high energy, innovative, and driven marketer to join a dynamic and growing team supporting the leading supplier of composites materials in North America.

The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting the execution and measurement of customer focused and brand communications strategies.

As an internal and external ambassador for the brand, he/she is accountable for executing marketing programs that will drive commercial success. Ensuring alignments and adherence with the Composites One brand and market position is essential.

Our Marketing Communications Specialist reports to the Director of Marketing Communications and will be accountable for the support and execution of Composites One’s marketing plan.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Proactively works with Sales Managers and Market Managers supporting the execution of campaign and tactical plans including timing, roll-out, and reporting. Also creates Sales tools, collateral and promotional materials to fulfill regional sales and market specific needs.
  • Facilitates, Manages and works to continuously improve Composites One Company Store by seeking input from sales, Operations and Marketing Team Members on ways to align our offering with market and internal needs.
  • Manages advertising program including media scheduling, media purchasing, and advertisement development, as well as coordinating general advertising campaigns in cooperation with department leaders.
  • Ability to ideate graphic and presentation solutions to communicate complex ideas, primarily in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Coordination of internal newsletter articles and creation of content for other medium including Intranet/Internet in collaboration with Digital Marketing Specialist.
  • Helps coordinate company-wide trade show marketing efforts
  • Works with marketing team to assist with research and organize data for various marketing initiatives.
  • Executes workshop tactics with direction from Director of Marketing Communications, Marketing Technology Manager and Lead Technical Support Manager.
  • Develops and designs collateral support for workshop program.
  • Coordinates public relations strategy to promote the workshops to the marketplace.
  • Oversees Lead Management Process.
  • Develops marketing campaign/nurture efforts to brand Composites One to certain leads.
  • Performs as chief coordinator for internal and external meetings, conferences and events.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field is required, or a combination of related experience and educations that is deemed to commensurate with the degree requirement. 
  • A minimum of ­­­­4-6 years previous experience in a Marketing role, or similar experience as a Marketing Assistant, Marketing Coordinator, or Marketing Specialist required. 
  • Knowledge of today’s communication tools and recent trends as it relates to the professional environment strongly preferred. 
  • Excellent writing, communications, public relations, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Knowledge of video production, including editing and script development. 
  • Ability to design graphics associated with campaign management. 
  • Skilled in working with creative agencies and an understanding of print processes. 
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a changing work environment required.

Skill Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency using MS Office software to effectively execute work tasks, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel; requires experience with Adobe Creative suite, including Premiere Pro. 
  • Experience with basic html, Office 365, Outlook, GoToWebinar, Teams and SharePoint preferred. 
  • Experience using email delivery system such as Constant Contact or Mail Chimp, etc. 
  • SAP Hybris experience desirable.
