The global marketing team within Pest Elimination offers the unique experience to reach across both Industrial and Institutional sectors, a high-level of global collaboration and accessibility to senior leaders to deliver industry changing innovation, and drive key strategic initiatives.

We are seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to join the Ecolab Pest Elimination North America division. As a part of the Marketing team, you will provide marketing communications support through the development and execution of traditional and digital integrated marketing communications plans. The role will focus on driving adoption and readiness for digital launches and initiatives. You will interface with key stakeholders from various functions and levels within Pest and other Ecolab divisions as needed, developing strategic communications that drive divisional and corporate goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist with developing integrated marketing communications plans and implement communication strategies to achieve marketing goals 
  • Develop and project manage multiple communications activities, including technical and/or promotional writing and design (print and online), audio and video production and digital communications ensuring accuracy and adherence to Ecolab brand standards 
  • Use skills in project management and collaboration to effectively execute large, complex projects 
  • Track and leverage qualitative and quantitative metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make insights-driven adjustments for continuous improvements 
  • Work with marketing managers and cross-functional partners to stay abreast of marketing programs, projects and launch plans 
  • Use problem-solving skills to communicate complex messages in a variety of communication forms to varying audiences 
  • Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services 
  • Coordinate and oversee relationships with external vendors and agencies

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 3-5 years of marketing, communications or related experience 
  • Strong written and oral communications skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of email marketing and CMS platforms (preferably Salesforce, Marketing Cloud and Sitecore) 
  • Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics and experience with marketing campaigns on social media 
  • Familiarity with Ecolab systems Project management experience, including being ability to lead project teams 
  • Proactive, organized, able to multitask between various projects at one time 
  • Ability to interface and collaborate effectively with diverse groups of people 
  • Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills balanced with vision and creativity 
  • Proven ability to execute marketing communications projects independently 
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign
