Marketing Communications Specialist

The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for executing marketing strategy, assisting in campaign development, graphic and web design efforts, implementing lead generation programs, and analysis of campaign effectiveness. The position is an integral part of the marketing team and will work closely with product management, engineering, sales, and customer relations to support product launches and identify growth opportunities.

Major Responsibilities:

• Design, produce and oversee development of marketing collateral (brochures, data sheets, company presentations, banner stands, event flyers, etc.) while adhering to various brand standards. 
• Collaborate internally and support cross functional teams to curate and write and design content for product launches, sales initiatives, digital initiatives, newsletters, PR, etc. 
• Assist with sales initiatives, promotions, trade shows, etc. 
• Assist with writing and editing of promotional literature. 
• Manage website updates through content management system. 
• Analyze and report on the effectiveness of various marketing programs and promotions as required. 
• Prepare materials and presentations for internal and external audiences on products, business plans and management communications. 
• Complete other projects assigned by the director of marketing to support departmental and organizational goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, English, journalism, or related field required. 
• 1+ years of business-to-business experience required 
• In-depth experience with desktop publishing software; Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop. 
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, with strong skills in PowerPoint 
• Experience with leveraging cloud based digital marketing assets (Pardot, Constant Contact, etc.), and willingness to master. 
• Familiarity with social media marketing, PPC/paid search marketing, and SEO best practices. 
• Some experience with managing CMS & LMS-based websites (WordPress, Articulate, etc.) 
• Strong project and vendor management skills and experience working with cross functional teams. 
• Strong knowledge of current trends in digital media and content marketing. 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
• Must be organized, reliable and have a keen attention to detail.
