WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Participate in meetings with all levels of brand team members - advocate for marketing process, distill key concepts to marketing outputs (tying business needs and requirements to actionable strategy and tactics), and work with the marketing team to own approved outcomes (content creation, timeline, and project management) 
  • Ensure process adherence, and quality of content created and delivered to the business
  • Create written content in support of campaigns and tactics as agreed upon by the business and as needed for other marketing needs 
  • Participate in the creation of and reporting for dashboards and campaign outcomes 
  • Identify opportunities to generate and improve lead-generation activities 
  • Actively participate in planning activities for the business and the marketing team 
  • Collaboratively work with cross-functional Marketing team for any Product Marketing needs 
  • Think “digital first” – from websites to lead-generating campaigns and work in a team with digital and other marketing specialists to maximize the impact of all tactics 
  • Have a passion for brand-building to ensure consistency and adherence in all created content 
  • A successful candidate will continue to build up the marketing communications team as a trusted partner by each of the brand teams in the organization.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is highly preferred (preferably in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field) 
  • Ideally, experience with the following technologies: social media publishing and listening tools, email marketing/marketing automation, CRM, and website CMS. 
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience, including marketing or other appropriate experience, preferably working for a major electrical or industrial products manufacturer or distributor 
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms including social media tools, marketing automation (Marketo preferred), customer relationship management (Salesforce.com preferred), digital asset management, and web content management systems
