POSITION SUMMARY:

As Marketing and Communication Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and creating marketing campaigns and communications that support company programs, services, and initiatives. This role will drive awareness and activation of initiatives, focusing primarily on a B2B audience. Successful candidates for this role are good communicators, with the ability to learn about myriad business operations and programs, and then can plan and create campaigns and communications to convey key messages to various audiences. This role reports to the Marketing Communications Manager.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • Planning and helping execute external and internal QBP communications, including customer communications, news releases, and corporate messages
  • Develop, facilitate, and help execute external marketing campaign strategies related to company programs, initiatives, and business highlights focused primarily on a business-to-business audience
  • Determine and create key messages and content to support campaign and communication strategies
  • Partner with Digital Marketing Team to determine social media content plan, in support of overall Marketing Content Plan
  • Identify audiences, segments, and key messages for targeted campaigns in various stages of the customer journey
  • Monitor QBP-brand social media channels and develop necessary responses to comments
  • Define KPIs for each campaign to ensure it aligns with strategic goals, then track and measure the success of key campaigns
  • Support quick-turn communication needs fromi nternal stakeholder departments

  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship-building skills to effectively work with a broad group of people and personalities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and adept at communicating complex, technical concepts in simple terms
  • Desire to grow professionally
  • Willingness to be curious and ask questions
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks and competing priorities under minimal supervision
  • Adept and experienced in how to effectively communicate across multiple channels and mediums
  • Ability to manage relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years marketing and/or communications experience, including execution of campaigns and/or communications across multiple channels.
  • Proven strong writing, editing and communication skills, with a desire to improve
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of digital and traditional marketing techniques.
  • Demonstrated track record of identifying and solving marketing and/or communication challenges in a timely manner
  • Ability to travel domestically one or more times a year, which includes flying by plane and driving a motor vehicle. 
  • Must possess a valid US driver’s license and fulfill the requirements of being a QBP Approved Driver
