Position Details

Marketing Communications Specialist
Southeast Wisconsin
Mukwonago, WI

Position Summary:

You will work closely with the Director of Marketing to plan and develop marketing communication efforts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to strategize and create integrated marketing campaigns that effectively promote our products, services, and brand values throughout all touchpoints of the customer journey.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Content Creation: Lead the creation of high-quality content, including social media, press releases, bulletins, and marketing collateral. 
  • Campaign Management: Conceptualize, plan, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. 
  • Digital Marketing: Integrate communications strategies into online platforms, including email marketing, social media, website content, SEO, and PPC platforms. 
  • Trade Show & Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute industry conferences, shows, and events that include booth/location selection, working with vendors for services, developing messaging, coordinating internal travel pieces, and lead follow-up. 
  • Analytics & Reporting: Utilize data and analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Lead Management: Assist in distributing leads to the field reps, collecting information, engaging with the lead generation tools, and looking for process improvements.

Knowledge, Skills and, Abilities (KSA's):

  • Understanding of marketing concepts, strategies, and tactics including segmentation, targeting, position, and the marketing mix. 
  • Proficient in maintaining brand consistently and effectively communicating brand values and messages, including tone of voice. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various communication channels such as digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, content marketing, and public relations. 
  • Understanding and familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and analytics 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Experience with Adobe Professional Creative Suite, Graphic Design or Photo/Video Creation is a PLUS. 
  • Experience with WordPress is a PLUS. 
  • Experience with Google Ad words and/or SEO is a PLUS. 
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and networking skills. 
  • Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple initiatives simultaneously and adapting to changing requirements, schedules, and priorities.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 
  • 2- 5 years of experience in marketing or communication roles, with a focus on creating and executing successful campaigns.
  • Familiarity with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing communications.
