Primary Responsibilities:

  • Follows all company established methods, policies, rules, practices, and procedures to ensure employee safety, product quality and efficient operations 
  • Responsible for the development and execution of traditional Marketing Communication functions including, but not limited to: graphic design, advertising, sample management, collateral development, trademark management, customer surveys, videography, photography, customer promotional items, public relations, event management (trade shows, customer events), market research and support 
  • Works closely with SWM AMS Leadership, Marketing and Commercial Segment Product Management teams to track ROI and execution of marketing initiatives to budget 
  • Partners cross-functionally with colleagues and vendors to ensure communications campaigns are completed on time and within budget 
  • Support and execute digital marketing programs including, but not limited to: website content management, digital advertising, e-mail campaigns and social media 
  • Utilize CRM system management information for marketing related initiatives 
  • Ability to travel approximately 20%

Education/Experience/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications/Graphic Design or a Technical degree in a related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial marketing and/or digital marketing, or a combination of education and experience.

Required Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of marketing communications 
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; manages the execution of communications through a variety of approaches (intranet, email, print, etc.) 
  • Must possess competency in areas such as prioritization, organization, flexibility, analysis, planning, and customer service 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to communicate with cross-functional colleagues to complete projects 
  • Ability to collaborate with teams in a global, matrixed environment 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Creative Suite, experience with CRM is preferred 
  • Prior industrial manufacturing marketing and communication experience is preferred.
