We are seeking a motivated Marketing Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Product Development, the Marketing Specialist will develop and optimize communications across specific verticals and target audiences in alignment with The DRG’s account-based marketing strategy. The Marketing Communications Specialist will collaborate with subject matter experts across the organization to co-create communications and work with the marketing team to assess performance and opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Write and edit marketing assets including blog posts, video scripts, eBooks, email templates presentations, etc. 
  • Contribute posts and ideas to the social media strategy 
  • Work with Marketing and HR to support internal communications 
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to collect ideas and feedback that inform new content development 
  • Write and edit proposal content, RFP responses, case studies and other related materials 
  • Transform technical concepts into clear, grammatically correct, and engaging content 
  • Support the communications strategy as set by the content lead and Director of Marketing

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of marketing writing experience in a business setting 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Professional & Technical Writing, Communications, or equivalent experience 
  • Experience creating content for B2B audiences (preferred) 
  • Must have a clear, confident, and compelling writing style 
  • Ability to establish trust-based relationships with internal stakeholders 
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities 
  • Ability to work independently with little oversight, as well as collaboratively with team members and subject matter experts 
  • Good attention to detail with strong written and oral communication skills
