APTIM's Energy Solutions seeks an experienced Marketing & Communications Web Manager for our Focus on Energy Team. This position is based in Wisconsin and responsible for coordinating day to day energy efficiency web marketing efforts, working with various program implementers, and building awareness for Focus on Energy. APTIM's role as the Program Administrator is to develop energy-savings programs vital to residential and business customers throughout the state. This program is funded by utility clients with unique needs and service territories while providing an equal opportunity for participation across the program portfolio. Coordination with internal functional teams and external stakeholders is important to maintain consistent branding and web outreach.

Focus on Energy is one of the longest standing energy efficiency and clean energy programs in the country. This award-winning program serves 107 utility territories across the Wisconsin market and supports more than 50,000 energy efficiency projects annually.

The Marketing & Communications Web Manager will coordinate and collaborate on brand awareness and implementer web campaigns promoting Wisconsin's Focus on Energy program offerings. Activities include input, review, and implementation of web content. Day-to-day updates of web content, routine performance reporting, and suggestions of content or performance of site or process optimization. Ensuring alignment and consistency in content and brand standards will be important.This position will work closely with the Digital and Marketing Directors and their teams.

In addition to being a team player and project leader, the successful candidate will also demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communications skills. In this role, you will be working with others who are passionate about energy efficiency and making a positive impact on the industry.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Work as part of an energy efficiency team ensuring the implementation of utility-sponsored energy efficiency marketing projects as well as Home Energy Rebate projects are successfully executed. 
  • Manage site(s) to ensure website efficiency, ADA compliance, and follow industry best practices. Plus, identify ways to improve the website user experience. 
  • Create or provide feedback on copy for various web needs. 
  • Create and update web pages to reflect brand standards and promotional needs. 
  • Manage web update request tool and process to ensure content requests are consistent and timely. 
  • Work closely with Digital, Marketing, and implementer teams to deliver annual and campaign marketing plan initiatives such as social media campaigns. 
  • Identify opportunities to promote the benefits of energy efficiency and achieve program goals. 
  • Coordinate with other team members to ensure web goals are being achieved. 
  • Monitor web trends to make suggestions on Focus on Energy web approaches. 
  • Maintain website's domain and hosting registration to ensure they are current and up to date. 
  • Support and work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders. 
  • All other duties as assigned. 
  • Ensuring compliance with all APTIM quality and safety policies as well as all OSHA regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience. 
  • 3-5 years' relevant experience in website marketing, online communications, and/or Site Management/Optimization. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of website management and optimization tools (AB testing, Google Analytics 4, etc.). 
  • Proficiency in HTML, Craft CMsS, Java, SEO, user experience, website accessibility standards. 
  • Experience defining the customer journey and setting up websites to match the journey. 
  • Outstanding written and oral communications skills with an understanding how to communicate to the website user audience. 
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage time, work independently and prioritize projects within established deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Excellent planning skills with proven experience in project management. 
  • Commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment within the team and the broader organization. 
  • Ability to think critically to solve issues and provide resolutions.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Wrike software or other project management software. 
  • Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams). 
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders. 
  • Experience in the energy efficiency industry preferred. 
  • Familiarity with Google Looker Studio or PowerBI 
  • Experience working on Focus on Energy programs or other energy efficiency programs.
