The Marketing Consultant is a position that consults, plans, and executes marketing objectives for our corporately owned locations. This position will assist with a variety of marketing campaigns and initiatives, including promotions, events, fundraising, budgeting, in-store POP, catering, and more. This individual will report on an immediate basis to the Director of Marketing, while also regularly working alongside the Marketing and Field Services teams.

What will you be doing every day?

  • Assist in building, budgeting and executing the Corporate Local Store Marketing plan
  • Generate new involvement opportunities in the community for partnerships, catering, food truck, etc. 
  • New store and store transfer marketing support
  • Assist with coordination and execution of large orders
  • Assist with coordination and execution of corporate donations and donation nights
  • Assist with ‘Feet on the Street’ catering development processes
  • Perform marketing audits at corporate stores to ensure consistency across the system
  • Maintain relationships with customers and vendors to continue fulfilling objectives
  • Provide support in miscellaneous projects for the marketing department
  • Aid the Corporate Operations team with supplies, signage, and any additional materials

What are we looking for?

  • 1-3 years of related experience in marketing, prior restaurant operations experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • Commitment to our four core values: Grounded, Passionate, Purposeful and Optimistic
  • Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
  • Ability to travel to markets within WI, with assistance in Indianapolis when locations open
  • Familiarity with the Cousins Subs brand
  • Upbeat, eager personality
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication and relationship building skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
