We are looking for an experienced Marketing Content Manager to build, develop, and optimize strategic content for integrated multi-channeled marketing campaigns. While the primary function of this role is to create compelling written content for a variety of marketing channels, the ideal candidate will possess the broad skills and experience necessary to actively support all stages of a campaign, including strategic planning, project management and creative collaboration. Understanding of digital platforms, such as Eloqua, and online best practices in order to optimize content are desired.

Working collaboratively with the senior marketing content manager, customer solutions and Category Management teams, you will develop and drive campaign and content strategies to create demand generation and brand awareness to external audiences through creative, commercial-focused writing for various platforms, including email, web pages, PPTs brochures and video scripts. You will collaborate with the corporate communications / production team to optimize and execute your written content to meet on-time roll out deadlines. You will also collaborate with internal functions (Learning and Development, Internal Communications) to share goals and messaging and partner to develop sales enablement strategies for the respective campaigns. Successful candidates will possess a passion for storytelling, and be self-motivated, results-driven, detail oriented and eager to grown and learn in a fast-paced team environment.

Primary Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To:

  • Ownership of campaign messaging formulation through a standardized marketing plan and partnering with internal resources on the delivery of that campaign internally and externally 
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns across multiple channels with a strong focus on content development and digital execution, including email marketing, social media, content marketing, and more. 
  • Set up and lead messaging discovery and strategy calls with subject matter experts and key stakeholders 
  • Lead the creation of compelling print and digital marketing content to convey the value of our solutions to targeted audiences 
  • Create and promote a library of rich thought leadership content that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties (including on-line postings, whitepapers, ebooks, brochures, PPTs, reports, webinars, infographics, etc.). 
  • Create and manage single email and nurturing campaigns to generate new leads and increase adoption of current users. 
  • Lead the creation of integrated marketing strategies for strategic supplier partners, including audience segmentation, marketing tactics, and media mix recommendations. 
  • During campaign planning, work with the analytics team to set measurement goals and metrics and set follow up timelines to gather analytics on marketing performance and results. Report on the data and trends to campaign stakeholders. 
  • Maintain brand standards to ensure consistent branding and messaging.

Qualifications And Skills:

  • Experience creating marketing plans and integrated marketing strategies to drive tangible results 
  • Experience developing compelling content across a variety of internal and external marketing channels, as well as developing creative briefs for design teams 
  • Experience working with digital media and social marketing platforms as well as online search strategies 
  • Experience working with web content and marketing automation systems, Eloqua experience a plus 
  • Ability to proactively establish and maintain effective cross-functional working team relationships with all departments. 
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical and business concepts and express them in clear language 
  • Ability to understand marketing data and analysis while developing plans to adjust tactics from these insights 
  • Demonstrated project management skills and proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment 
  • Understanding of solution-selling approach into targeted vertical markets 
  • Familiarity working directly with sales teams and sales leadership 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills 
  • A proactive approach to problem identification and resolution 
  • A passion for marketing, demand generation and data-driven decision making with a desire to grow and learn

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Marketing, Communications or related field 
  • Minimum of 5 -7 years’ experience developing highly digital integrated marketing communication and demand generations strategies and campaigns in a B2B technology environment 
  • 5+ years’ experience developing compelling and impactful content across a variety of channels
