As a Digital Content Specialist, you will be responsible for updating and coordinating content for The Living Kitchen Magazine (TLK) digital platform. You will also increase our advertising opportunities for our print publication.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create and Execute Content Management System for our Digital Content 
  • Organize, maintain, and update content within Content Management System 
  • Develop annual content calendar for Digital. 
  • Partner with Digital and UX teams for website best practices and template creation 
  • Agency partnership for social media collaboration 
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.) 
  • Communication with The Living Kitchen Magazine team regarding content shared digitally versus in print. 
  • Integrate and coordinate stories for online platform. 
  • Develop a system for building print publication advertising prospects. 
  • Grow and maintain advertising opportunities.

Education:

Required -

  • Bachelors or better in Marketing or related field.

Experience:

Required -

  • Adobe Suite (InDesign & Photoshop)
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a cross-functional matrix environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize while meeting deadlines
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage and to accomplish goals without direct management
  • Microsoft Office
  • Quickly adapt to changing needs of fast-paced nature of the magazine
  • 1-5 years: Relevant experience

Preferred -

  • Digital or Graphic Design experience 
  • Workfront knowledge 
  • Self-Starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
